PG - Foye/Telfair/Jaric/Hudson
SG - Davis/Green/McCants
SF - Brewer/Gomes/Hassell
PF - Jefferson/Smith/Richard/Madsen
C - Blount/Howard/Ratliff

They have a lot of log jams. Great young talent, though. But God damn, who is going to teach these young fellas besides Juwan, Theo, and.......gulp......Mark Madsen?

However, role players aren't the main reason why teams win. Celts are now built for now, they're no longer a team of future so I really expect them to get at least 2 solid vets, they'd be foolish not to.

I was just trying to explain MaxFly that the Celts can compete with any team in the league and even the champs don't have so much talent besides the top 3 and Bowen. The Celts have a core...now they need some vets and they're there.

You're wrong there. Teams definitely need role players in order to compete:

Derek Fisher 0.4 seconds
Robert Horry 0.3 seconds vs Kings
Robert Horry 3 pointer vs Blazers
Gary Payton's 19 footer vs. Mavs
John Paxon's 3 vs Suns

etc..........

Superstars can only take you so far, you need role players in order to complement them.

trust me. I speak for a lot of wolves fans knowing we'll be less miserable knowing we're going to be bad but having the pleasure to watch a young team gel rather then not knowing we're playoff contenders or not half way through february and if not, start praying for losses to secure a top 10 pick
