agree on tmac. unless he shows heart and passion for the game. he will never be a great leader.

Lebron doesn't seem like a winner. he had 1 good series and shot 34% in the Finals.
If it's purely based on choking, then add a few more to the list. Dirk for example or Garnett.

Anybody who says Allen Iverson isn't a winner is stupid. He got an MVP and went to the Finals. Garnett I believe actually has the fire in him, but he needs GOOD team mates, not team mates who cares about stats. Look around the league, you see at least one co-star supplementing the superstar, and who does Garnett have? Uhhhh....Ricky Davis? Wow.

they are all great but they are not winners. it's something about their approach to the game and personality that they will never be champions.

He's only 22. Give him time. Jordan didn't win early on in his career. It's all a process.

mcgrady didn't choke, him and yao were like the only 2 scoring pretty much in game 7. no one else scored double digits that game.

It really depends on your definition of "great"... I would say a great player is one that has the leadership ability to seperate himself from the wanna be greats. Here is some players that are regarded as great, but probably haven't earned that title. These are all elite level guys, but not primary leaders.

Iverson
TMac
Kobe
Carter
Arenas

I give Arenas a couple more years to have a chance to get off this list... but all those other guys haven't done much towards leading their teams anywhere. They are good enough to get everyone hoping any team lead by them has a chance, but not good enough to make it happen.

Wrong thread, Donks. Aside from this topic though, you actually like the yellow/blue ones? Wow. I'd wear it, only if I had a matching outfit to go with it, but i'm guessing you do have one so I can't hold a grdueg against your opinion. It's alright, not as good as the blacks.

****. Edited. Shhhh.

And yeah, I love the yellow/blue. Probably because that's one of my favourite colour combos for my clothes (or for anything really). Primary colours are hard as ****.

But yeah, not really one to coordinate outfits with shoes, although if it happens by accident, I'm also not one to regret it. :)

I'm all about the flash anyways.

Edit: Haha, that had a double meaning. I'm awesome.

for those not quite up to speed with smart guys like myself, 'flash' could mean Wade or being flashy with bright colours. if you had to highlight this, you aren't allowed to read my posts anymore.

I think for me, its the fact he probably wants to win more than anyone else in the NBA. you can tell he lives for the sport, shoots in the gym alone when no one else is around, and is crushed when he loses and puts his team before himself. I definitely don't get that feeling when i look at mcgrady, lebron and some others.
