if KG is on here then Kevin McHale can't be too far behind.

Kevin McHale is my pick.

Bob McAdoo. I'm on a 70's big man trip right now. Gotta call up the MVP's of that era. Probably the third best scoring big man in those days behind Wilt and Kareer and over Moses.

Alex English. If AI gets in for scoring abilities then English should get in as well. I wouldn't put English above Unseld, Thurmond, Mcadoo, or a few others but I like his name. If someone was named Nate Latin then he should be right after.

Then why vote him now? The name thing is a dumb reason. English is good but don't vote him through based on that. This is why these lists can't be taken seriously.

The list is obviously a popularity contest now so I just put my guy in. It was obviously a joke because I said his name puts him above guys better than him.

It shouldn't be anymore so that's why I said English.

Still with thoses (so called flaws) he made 12 straight All-Star games and 12 straight All-NBA teams. He also took his team the Syracuse Nationals to the championship in 1955.

My vote goes for DOLPH SCHAYES

Ya, I know how everything he did was common place in that era, and I agree with you that he should be voted around here(he should actually be not too far down from Mikan). I just have a hard time judging a guy like Adolph because I've only seen a few games he's played in. In the limited number of games I've seen him play,he did dominate, but I'm just thrown off by his style of play. All he seemed to do was take mid range shots, it actually seemed like he was taking free throws considering the player's guarding him barely could get a hand in his face. However, I hate argueing against a player because he played in a "so-called" weak era, so the 12 straight all-star games and pioneering of the power forward position make him a deserving player.

most of these players do not have an MVP or taken thier team to the Finals

I thiunk you have failed to see what Dirk has really accomplished...he is by far the greatest Mav of all time and the first "big man" of his kind in that he is a beast on the perimeter.

he is still young but when it is all said and done I think he will be top 25.

if you were a GM then you have to admitt you would take Dirk over at least half of this list...

I think you're going a bit far by saying Laettner, and Byron Scott should be voted in before Nash and Dirk. I see them getting in at around the same time as Reggie, Dantley, and Maravich. Maybe in the 50's-60's, possibly higher.

laettner was a mistake. sorry. Id atleast like to see 10 of those guys in there that have NBA titles get in before Dirk does. Dirk is still working his way up but at the moment he should be down around the mid 50s maybe.

I'd take a lot of those players over Dirk, but Dirk's career isn;t finished like most of those players so we don't know what in store.

It's not really hard to be considered the greatest Maverick ever, his comp is Mark Aguirre and Rolando Blackman.
