Like Richie said, Rashard Lewis with just more versatility. Will he reach that point? That is yet to be seen though...:) :

Its hard to compare him to anyone.

McGrady is more explosive, but does not have Durant's post moves.

Durant has better post moves than Rashard Lewis, and is a better ball handler.

Dirk is a better shooter as of right now, but is not as quick as Durant.

Ammo is just as good a shooter, but is slower then Durant, and does not have as good of post moves as him. Also is not nearly as long.

I like the Jonathan Bender comparisons. I remember Bender had so much skills, too bad for the injury's. Although bender was more explosive then Durant, he was not nearly as polished as Durant.

It's hard to compare him with anyone really.

When was the last time a 18 year old kid came into the NBA, with 3 point range, post up moves, his range, his height, and how polished he was offensively?

In 4 years i can see him dominating the NBA.

An early Keith Van Horn. A lanky, athletic shooter who can still get to the rim, and pulls down just under 10 boards a game. He'll probably score a lot more than KVH did, and his defense will surely be better.

Shawn Marion? Geez, what planet do you live on?

As for KVH Comparison....Get out of here. I've seen KVH's best days and Durant looks he'll be a lot better. He doesn't seem to have the self-confidence issues. Also Kevin's game is more natural while KVH was a bit more deceptive with his game--meaning he was more of a flopper than given credit for.

T-Mac is a fine comparison. Game looked effortless and smooth.

22 and 9 with over a steal and a block per game isn't that bad. Durant has basically the same skillset as KVH did when he entered the league, when he was being called the next Larry Bird. The big difference between them is Durant has a lot more athleticism, which will allow him to put up better numbers in points, blocks, and steals, and ultimately, allow him to have the better career.

Skill set and actual playing styles are very different. Sean Williams and Kenyon Martin have the same skill set coming out of college, now would you put your money that Sean becomes anywhere as good as Kenyon did with the Nets?

I guess we just have a different definition of skillset. Sean Williams and K-Mart don't have the same skillsets. They're both athletic freaks, but Sean's skillset include his great post defense and shotblocking, while K-Mart is great in the offensive post.

KVH and Durant have similar skills. Both are great shooters, to go along with good handles for such tall, lanky, guys. Neither have much passing ability, the one thing that will make Durant a much better player than Keith is his athleticism, which I wouldn't consider a skill.

Who knows. Sean Williams is an athlete and Jkidd loves athletes. If he can make mikki moore earn the MLE who know how well Sean will do with Jkidd setting him up

I think the first milestone that durant must meet is Rashards level. They have similar skills w/ durant just quicker. he must first reach rashards level as soon as possible and go from there

I see a mix between Dirk and T-Mac...I ultimately think he will become a 4 with added weight and will be able to hold his own there do to his freakish length...

Like Durant and KVH, I don't think you've watched Kenyon Martin play. Kenyon was a great defender-post and perimeter-for us. He was one the best shot blockers coming out of college just like Sean Williams is. As for Kenyon Martin being great in the offensive post? News to me. He was always a guy who was better facing up his opponent than posting them up.
