Default Does Sofoklis Schortsanitis have a future in the NBA

Sofoklis Schortsanitis (Baby Shaq, Big Sofo)

22 Years Old | 290 - 310 lbs | 6-9 PF Center, Selected in second round by LA Clippers

What do you think, can he play in the NBA in a near future or he will never leave Greece.

Comparation: poor man's version of Shaq, and similarities w/ Big baby.

He'll probably come to L.A. and help out the Clippers soon enough.

I'd love to see him play for the curiosity factor. He was bulling everyone around on team usa.

Did you watch the World Champ final vs Spain? A younger, smaller and less experienced guy, Marc Gasol (pick #48 in this year's draft, Lakers) swept him out of the paint. And Marc is not his brother Pau, is much less skilled. This greek guy needs to improve a lot before being useful to an NBA team.

Can someone make a list of all the guys that have been labeled "baby shaq" or "_____ shaq" before they hit the NBA, then bold the ones who have actually lived up to the name? (hint: i'll save you some trouble and say that you don't have to bold any of them)

Just say dude is fat lol

Anyway the guy looks like he could maybe be decent, but with a label like that anything short of dominance is gonna make people consider him a disappointment. They're hurtin him in the long run

He's coming over for the 2008/09 season more then likely according to reports from Olympikos[sp?] and the Clippers FO, and yes, he does have a future in the L. Remember what he did against the US in the WBC?

If Jerome James and Mikki Moore can get big contracts, why not him?

He should go for it.

There's always a stupid GM somewhere who will pay big money for a worthless center, so if he turns out to be good, all the better.

If not, he can still collect money.

If I ever encountered a ***** named Sofoklis Schortsanitis I would lose it.

That being said, I don't picture him being anything spectacular.

Thumbs up Re: Does Sofoklis Schortsanitis have a future in the NBA

Absolutely. Agree with QRich will be a Clip next year with cap space freed in 08. He will be a solid addition to the bench backing Kaveman and EB. He will be a developed talent when arrives next year.

He is not Pau Gasol, but he tall and much stronger that Pau, I dont know if P.Gasol have the strength to hold Big FOFO, but he definitely have 10X more game than his brother.

Marc is not smaller he is 7,1 (2.16m) and he is as young and experience as Big FOFO, and the whole Greek Team play like crap, they where still celebrating the victory over US. But you can see game in this guy, but he need more time to develop his skills.

If you can't speak english well, don't try to form complicated ideas using the language. Doing so prevents anyone from understanding what you're trying to say.

What you should've said was:

I can't speak english well.
I'm intelligent, because I can speak several languages.
I also have common sense.

I'm sure you're perfectly capable of saying those three sentences. Then we would've understand what the **** you were trying to say. Don't try to compensate for your bad english skills by trying to get fancy with language.
