If Iverson was that big, he would not be as agile or fast as he is now. Dumbass.

Uh, NO. The Lakers would have NEVER advanced past those Sp*rs and Kings teams between 2000-2003. <stupid idiots>
How do you know? Kobe shot horrible FG% while taking more FG attempts than any other laker. AI could very well have out performed Kobe with that squad considering what he was able to do with the limited talent around him in Philly.

the Lakers would probably have 4 or 5 rings with a Shaq/Iverson combo. most NBA players would probably agree.

-AI would have given the same (or more) PPG than Kobe, possibly on an even better FG%. Look how his shooting percentage shot up 6% when he got to play with Melo...and he was even faster five years ago.

-put AI on any solid/good defensive squad and he becomes a dangerous defender because it allows him to play the lanes and wander. No one can touch young/prime Iverson when it comes to steals in Playoff games.

most importantly....

-Shaq and Iverson would probably get along until they were 100 years old. there would have never been a chemistry problem between the two because AI would have always deferred the spotlight to a prime Shaq. Iverson would probably get 25 and 10 playing with Shaq.

Do some research first. Kobe was "average" at BEST in 2000. Check his FG%, check the number of times he was abused on D by Bonzi Wells and Jalen Rose, check the turnovers, etc.

Shaq would have won in 2000 with Jerry Stackhosue in Kobe's spot, let alone Iverson.

Would Iverson and Shaq win three titles? I dunno. But they definitely win the 2000 one.

LOL come on now.. "most NBA players would probably agree."

Um no.. most NBA players wouldn't agree.

Iverson is good but not that much better than Kobe to add two extra titles.

All I will say is FOR SURE Iverson would have won in 2000 with Shaq after that I dunno because Kobe did started stepping up and doing "Kobe things" by the third title. First title, guy was like a Jerry Stackhouse/Jamal Crawford

If Iverson was on the Lakers during the championship runs, he'd be having same amount of points that Kobe had. Shaq would be the one getting all the points, not Iverson.

Now take a Miami Heat Shaq, and put a Bryant or an Iverson on that team, that team would win atleast 1 championship. Iverson or Bryant winning the Final MVP.

Shaq and Kobe would have won at least 1 more title had they stuck together after 2004 but they couldn't get along. you honestly think Iverson and Shaq would not have kept the chemistry going?

"What If's" are silly, but an AI/Shaq combo would have been just as deadly as the 01 and 02 Lakers. They would have gotten through the west and playing Milwaukee and New Jersey in the 01 and 02 Finals would have been a breeze.

keep them together through 2006 and they'd still be elite, just for the sole purpose that Shaq always brings talent to his teams.

I think Shaq/AI probably would've had better chemsitry just because of their personalities. Iverson is more out going and has that "street cred" going on ... Kobe when he came to the Lakers was kinda introverted and had a bit a "prodigy complex" that I think pissed Shaq off (and things escalated from there).

Shaq and A.I. if they were teammates would go out to clubs together and stuff like that, Shaq and Kobe? Not a chance. So the off-court stuff IMO never would have gotten as heated.

I figured he was around 5'11". He weighs around 160-165, but when you're playing with guys who are about 230-240, of course he'll look skinny. He's pretty muscular for a skinny dude.
