Wouldn't have mattered had Malone protected the ball or the Jazz protected the rim.

Utah had the game under control with 30 seconds remaining and Stockton hit a 3 to put Utah up 3. They should have ran the offense through Stockton and have him create a shot for himself or set someone up instead of immediately going to Malone in the post. Ron Harper's shot shouldn't have counted, but the crowd was so loud, I seriously doubt the refs could even hear the buzzer, I know I couldn't hear it live.

Fun Fact: That Bulls/Jazz series remains the highest rated NBA finals matchup in the history of NBA basketball. That series had an average viewer rating of 18.7; in contrast, this year's Spurs/Cavs matchup had an average rating of 6.2.

How so? I've always wanted to talk to someone who happened to be there at one of these games?

the first one's kinda "iffy" to me. it was definitely a bad missed call, but it was early second quarter, and the score was 28-24.

Dick sucks... if not for those 2 plays... Malone and Stockton would not have retired without rings... i remember watching the game on "NBA Greatest Games" and it was like... erm... Eisley OBVIOUSLY got the shot off in time...

Indeed he did. But Harper's shot that was clearly not released in time was counted. I was thinking that it was one of the worst calls I've seen at such a high level(Game 6).

Being a Bulls fan hanging out with all my Jazz fan friends. It was indeed a hostile environment.
