Idk why df we give last meals to criminals.

However, my last meal would be a ribeye medium, lobster tail steamed or grilled with butter, snow crab legs, kfc wedges and McDonald

Is this supposed to be a sick joke? Food is prescribed.

As for the thread, I'm considering whether it's a bannable offense.

A related question that just occurred to me...

We've all heard of or watched the scenes where the Governor dramatically issues a stay of execution at the last moment. The condemned man is on his way to the chair and a guard runs up, or the phone rings while he's being strapped in, and hooray! Governor has issued a stay pending the outcome of some new appeal, so it's back to the jail cell.

Now, the condemned has presumably already had his Last Meal. Let's say the appeal is turned down, and a few months later he has a new execution date. Does he get another last meal? How many times can this happen? Say the guy goes back and forth several times, and he's facing his seventh execution date, and another last meal. He's thinking "Okay, I did the steak, did the prime rib, did the lasagna, did the tacos, did the pizza, did the crab legs... screw it, just bring me some Count Chocula.

The best all-American breakfast money can buy:
    - three scrambled eggs
    - 4 sausage links
    - 4 strips of bacon
    - true hominy grits w/ cheddar cheese and good Irish butter
    - a buttermilk biscuit with sausage gravy
    - two waffles with butter and Vermont maple syrup

If it’s my last meal, I’ll get it all down and die happily.

Just an endless stream of Cevape to the side of Lepinja Bread, feta cheese stuffed Somborke, Super Spicy Ayvar and Kaymak, lots lots of Kaymak... and the creamiest FLIJA i can find (Albanian Cuisine)... some Baklava perhaps... all of this homemade from the sweetest Balkan grandmother, none of that disgusting shit you can buy outside.... until i cant take it no more and succumb... :)

You non-Balkan people are missing out, im telling you...

I could be way off on this but I don't think the situation you're envisioning can actually happen anymore. I can't find a source for this but I'm almost certain I read about a situation where it was like...

    - condemned exhausted all appeals and began preparing for his execution
    - new evidence was found just prior to execution
    - governor stayed the execution pending review of the evidence
    - evidence was not found to impact the verdict at all so the guy was still guilty
    - execution was rescheduled
    - guy's lawyers made the argument that forcing him to prepare for his own execution a second time constituted cruel and unusual punishment, violating the 8th amendment
    - sentence was commuted to life in prison w/o parole

I could be entirely wrong on this and someone who is more legally inclined would know more than me but I could swear I've seen that somewhere. I can't help but think that had to have made its way to the Supremes if it did happen.
