The game has been broken before, and somehow managed to fix itself without requiring a rules-change tourniquet. It wasn't too many years ago that critics were moaning and complaining that defense was dominating the league and games were no longer fun to watch.

Changing the value of 3-pointers is a big step, and one that could have plenty of far-reaching effects beyond the obvious. I'd prefer to give the league another couple of seasons to deal with the issue on its own before deciding a drastic rules change is needed.
