Kevin Garnett Traded to Phoenix Suns -- You Heard It Hear First!

You might not believe me, BUT, Kevin Garnett has been traded to the Suns and the official paperwork is being done right now. It is 99% done deal unless Phoenix pulls out at the last minute.
I am not sure what the T-Wolves will be getting in return, but I feel it will definitely involve Amare Stoudemire.
I have some sources who have told me this... just remember who you heard this from FIRST!
Also, Adidas and NBA aren't too happy with this because the Timberwolves are going to be playing pre-season games overseas and Kevin Garnett was supposed to be the big draw... he won't be anymore.
you know how these are. you hear this all the time and half the time the deal doesn't go through. or it could be bull****, although I doubt it.
or it could be real, making this the biggest blockbuster since the Shaq deal.
anyway, just putting it out there for your consideration.
Nash/Barbs
Bell
whatever
Marion
KG
guy who posted it is not the joking/prank type and I don't think he'd blab to all his facebook friends unless he was fairly sure.

Boston's Danny Ainge has acknowledged discussing Garnett possibilities with the Wolves, and the Suns, according to NBA front-office sources, are talking to them, as well. After three straight seasons out of the playoffs with Garnett, it appears Minnesota finally has realized it must consider dealing Garnett and starting over because it lacks the trade assets or salary-cap flexibility to significantly improve the cast around him.

rumors of proposals or interest sure. but I don't think I've heard "the deal is done, will be announced as soon as is humanly possible" yet. at least recently. and to the Suns.
I know it's KG. He's great...always in my top 3-4 players in the league, but he's 30-31, has an opt-out clause after this year, and resigining them doesn't help the Suns financially. Would love to have him here, but not at the expense of Amare.
Amare is still young. He's locked into his deal for another few years, and when Nash leaves, they still have a building block for the future.

You of all people should know that age doesnt determine anything. Nash anyone?

it's KG.
Nash can't get you guys a title. Amare can't get you guys a title. (I think they've just about proven this beyond any doubt)
KG can. he's a top 3 player. Amare scores points. there's not a thing Amare can do that KG can't and KG can do infinitely more.
as for age... so? KG doesn't use his athleticism so it doesn't matter how old he is as long as he can still get up the floor fine. Amare, on the other hand, seems like he could have a career ending injury at any second the way he plays. I bet this guy retires pretty early.

KG > anybody on suns' roster in my opinion.
It's not just a question of age. It's a gamble to trade Amare who is locked in to his deal for years as opposed to a player like KG who can opt out of a deal next year. It's also a question of building for the future.

This is the Suns window, Nash only has 2 MAYBE if your lucky 3 good years left, phuck the future, the time is now.
