I just don't see why it's difficult to believe that the '91 (or '92 or '93) Bulls would have beaten Detroit regardless
of Detroit's "age." They took them to 6 and 7 games the previous two seasons, and it was all Detroit could do to contain Jordan alone. When Pippen and Grant developed (and, more importantly, stopped playing horribly and choking against Detroit in particular), Detroit had no answers.
Why is it so hard to believe that a team who had pushed Detroit to 7 games just a season prior with their second and third best players playing like a$$ would be able to beat said team once everyone was playing well? Detroit didn't "age" that much in one season to go from "the best team in the world" to "over the hill."
