Hakeem Olajuwon is a definite choice for me.

I'd like to train with LeBron or Amare so I could teach them something!

Seriously though would probably be Deron Williams. He is probably the guy thats game is most like mine right now.

Possibly Kobe, he is probably the hardest working player and thats a good thing to learn.

Another guy I would like to train with is Dennis Rodman. I think rebounding is the best part of the game and who better to learn it from than the guy who made it is speciality.

How many players can model their game after a 7ft basketball player who basically turns and banks in shots all day.

Yeah because that's all Tim Ducan ever does.

That's a ridiculous comment. In the same fashion, how many players can model their game after someone with a ridiculously low 40 yard sprint time and a reaction time and level of coordination probably beyond anyone on this board? They're NBA players - of course there's going to be vast differences between us and them.

And if you watched Tim Duncan at all, you'd see there's an absolute tonne of stuff you could learn from him. Look at his vast array of post moves, his footwork, his timing, his selective positioning (especially on defense), his decision-making, the way he reads and passes out of the post before double teams can even get there - that's the stuff he excels at. And furthermore, that stuff doesn't rely on having a 40 inch vert/being 7ft tall.

all-time: Larry Bird
right now: Kobe Bryant

because I believe those are the two most skilled players in the time I mentioned.

On a sidenote, Duncan does NOT have a "vast array of post moves". He simply has an excellent hook shot, something most big men nowadays are not capable of. There's sooo many times where he just backs his defender down, dribbles twice and turns around for the hook shot. Everyone should be able to do that if he got the hook shot down.
