Wow you seriously need to get a life man. Only morons would say Kobe>Jordan. My how Kobe has accomplished himself where fans have to put up stats to prove Jordan is better when it is simply not needed.
Great stuff I read 90% of it. Kobe is a talented player but I always knew he was no MJ, we all did.
Just showed me how great MJ was and confirmed Kobe was a wannabe,
"Games with 4+ steals
Air: 235
Kobe: 63"
Shocked me.
Thank you, lol @ these lames talking about "Jordan is better because he is" okay buddy, than why are you in this thread? *lame poster*:...durr because...I wanted to tell you that..durr..because this thread is stupid
I thought this statistic is all you need. Puts to rest the myth that Kobe is "clutch":
Game winning shots
Michael Jordan: 33 out of 58 attempts (56.9%)
Kobe Bryant: 7 out of 32 attempts (21.9%)
Michael Jordan has the most known game winning shots of any player in NBA history. He has by far the highest conversion rate in the clutch.
Michael Jordan led countless 4th quarter comebacks in which he singlehandedly won the game throughout his career.
Among Kobe’s 32 clutch opportunities, he has yet to pass the ball to another player. He has by far the most end of game situations with no assists of any player in NBA history. He has one of the lowest conversion rates in the clutch.
A couple reasons why this is one of the dumber posts I've ever seen:
1. Kobe is 29. MJ played until he was 39. MJ's totals are obviously going to be a lot higher. It doesn't take a genius to know that. They're not going to match, but I'm sure his totals will be drastically closer.
2. Very few people are questioning that Jordan > Kobe. This thread is completely unnecessary.

Hmm, Kobe in his career hit like 22 game winners IIRC. You may be dealing with some wrong stats.
jordan fans are threaten by kobe. so they feel the need to prove that jordan is still best. i dont see jordan fans making a comparison between jordan or lebron or any other player.
Kobe will at least come close in most of those statistical categories.
He's turning 29 in 2 months and still has at least 3-4 years of basketball at his best.
I believe Kobe so far has played as many minutes as Jordan at 33 so in 4 years this comparison will be fair since Jordan played 4 more seasons after he was 33.
2, 3, 5 years...whatever. It's a lot of time.
Kobe will come close to matching some of those numbers and he"ll actually beat Jordan in some but what's more important is how many rings Kobe wins because that will ultimately tell the story of how close Kobe came to MJ.
Right now this comparison is unfair because Jordan played 15 seasons while Kobe just finished his 11th.
Add the fact that Kobe at first was playing off the bench, there was a lockout season and it kind of evens out with Jordan's retirement, one season when he was injured and the 95 season..
Kobe after 15 seasons should AT LEAST get closer in most of those categories but in the end, it's about rings, not so much the stats.
Winning is what will tell the story about Kobe's legacy, not stats.
Although, still impressive if he gets close or beats Jordan in some of those.

How many more rings do you see Kobe winning before he retires?
