this is textbook for how to criticise white basketball players. always find the last place his team failed and pin the blame on him. ignore any times when he won for his team by not choking.
a white basketball player MUST WIN the championship and leave people no room to criticise. otherwise they go back to the last place where his team lost and blame it on him. they pretend there was never a time when the player won for his team.
every year that nowitzki does not win the NBA championship will provide people more "evidence" that nowitzki is a choker.

Very true. Whites (and foreigners) are always hated. Even Larry Bird is always criticized for his defense, which, truthfully, isn't as bad as Magic's (but this is a totally separate thread). The biggest discrimination in USA is in the NBA. The league needs a white Al Sharpton.

i don't agree with this. i think the managers and coaches in the NBA are the least race conscious in professional sports, and the league is the most efficient at putting the best players in the game.
the media and fans are racist, but that's not some huge problem, nor can it be changed much, and it doesn't affect the game much either. it's just annoying to me personally to see the very specific tactics used to bash white players over the years. they are common and predictable.
as i said, every white player is just 3 or 4 bad games away from not even deserving to play, and the fans will be on their butts almost immediately. in football this has gotten so bad it's comical.

Out of the top 5 for sure and maybe even not top 10 anymore and Im far from a dirk h@ter but you cant tell me that
Duncan
Wade
Kobe
Lebron
Nash
would allow their 67 win team to lose to a 42 win team while under performing to the point where they become the team's third best player and 4th or 5th best player on the floor. Hes got a loaded loaded team

He used to be TOP 5, Now I say Top 30 maybe.
shut the **** up.
this is by far the worst playoff series of his prime and he's still @ 20/11. those stats are better than his play, but he's still EASILY top 10 and I'd still have him right around #4-6 in the league or so. which is where he was 2 years ago, where he was a month ago, and where he is now. I've always pretty much had a handle on this guy.

tell me how dirk is #4-6...
Duncan
Kobe
WAde
Nash
Lebron
KG
Amare
Shaq
All are definately better than Dirk as of now and Dirk cant even move back up until he does ssomething in the post season
Re: How far has Choke Nowitzki slipped in the player rankings?
Dirk should only fall for those who overrated him in the first place. This series should not show you anything new:
Mental Weakness
Poor Defense
Great, but not dominant, scorer
Can't post up a guy 6" shorter than him
Average leader at best
Can't do much to help his team win if he's not scoring
Average rebounder

I always knew he was soft...but seriously not this soft. I didnt think it was humanly possible....Dirk is damaged mentally,D-Wade literally destroyed his career

Antoine Walker, Antawn Jamison (although he's kicked way more ass in the playoffs than Dirk), Charlie Villanueva, JR Smith, Marc Jackson, and VC except maybe every third game. KG is arguable--he definitely isn't clutch. Honestly--I'd probably take him over Dirk.
