at least he didnt punch Duncan in the face and run behind his coach! lol! : : :
it's getting emotional... few teams have been able to come back from a 1-3 post season... it's experience that counts though... with K-Mart next season they look strong...
No shame in crying when you're disappointed. You gotta realize he probably also feels like he let down the entire city of Denver. That's a lot of weight to carry.
He's probably also extremely frustrated over all the offensive foul calls that went against him. I think all his fouls were offensive fouls. It was pretty bad. A couple of them seemed like good no-calls IMO. These guys are men, let 'em battle it out a little.
And I'm starting to think you are a bigger idiot than I first thought. And that was big enough.
I don't even like Anthony. Not one bit. But if something, him showing emotion over losing an important game made me respect him more, not less. If you've never cried due to losing something important, chances are you are missing an important and valuable part of life.
he shouldn't have expected so much going in the playoffs facing the Spurs in the 1st round... beating the Spurs once is tough enough and 4 times is hard especially when you're team is not as strong as you would expect...
besides... what's the point of crying when the series isn't over and you should instead be working on your game and team work and strategies to beat the Spurs???!!!

1) Yes, he should have expected beating the Spurs. Not because they can do it, but because they are supposed to try. And if you don't believe you can, you surely cannnot. AI summed it up pretty well in his press conference after tonite's game when saying: 'If we don't believe we can win this thing, we shouldn't travel to San Antonio.'
2) You don't cry because it 'makes sense' crying. You don't do everything to make sense. Sometimes it just happens. Thank God. Show be the most rational being and you've shown me the least happy being at the same time.

these things take their toll. And the Nuggets have showed signs that they could be in control of this series if things had just gone their way a little bit. Plus you have to remember the guy has been to 4 consecutive 1st round and been knocked out each time. That stuff starts to play on your mind a fair bit.
So what, You think he's gunnu finish the game, then go chuck on a fresh pair of shoes and socks and go work on his game.

so they should cry instead of coming up with ways to beat the Spurs???
It was an important playoff game, and it could have easily cost them the series. It would be a bigger issue if he didn't cry, find a picture of him laughing after that game and then you got something controversial.
