Pat Burke on Kobe Bryant: "If Kobe’s going out and he’s hitting these crazy shots, nine times out of 10, if he keeps shooting like that, they’re going to lose against us. One guy playing against five is never going to win. It’s remarkable whenever I watch Kobe and I see (his teammates) on the floor, they don’t even have their hands up for a pass because they know he’s not passing. It’s the most selfish basketball I think I’ve ever seen. I don’t care how good he is, it’s not going to work."
although he has zero talent ,it is good to see he understands the game.
he shouldnt talk until he actually plays a meaningful minute in the nba... i dont see that happening any time soon.
So, only people who play lots of minutes in the NBA can talk about it? Why are you posting here and discussing basketball then?
It's just a general observation that a lot of people agree with. I'm sure there are plenty of players in the league that recognize it's the Kobe show and not much else. Maybe his teammates suck, but they can't suck that bad or they wouldn't have made the NBA.
Pat Burke's a genius... Bryant took a lot of shots in game 1 and the Lakers lost... Bryant spread the ball in game two and the Lakers lost by a lot more...
Of coure Pat Burke wants Bryant to pass the ball. Who wouldn't want to keep the ball out of his hands and force others to make plays.
