Yet, Nash wins all those MVP awards. Oh well.....

And going one step further, only 5 guys have at least 5 assists and 5 rebounds. That would be:

JK - 8 and 8
LJ - 6 and 6

If the game is on the line i would choose Jason Kidd over Nash who is a proven playoff choker. Jason Kidd can average triple double in playoff round and he should have won the MVP after he turn the Nets into a contender in 2001-02.

If Kidd would get more aggressive with his scoring, like he would a few years ago, he'd have a legendary season.

But he's still better than Nash.

If Kidd had a squad around him, then he'd have to be a top MVP candidate, he'd get double digit assists too with the Suns, and make them a good defensive team and better rebounding team.

You know fix all the weaknesses that the Suns have, without taking away from their strength.

right now, nash is way better scorer and a bit better distributor than nash, and that offsets difference on the defensive end.
so right now i'd chose nash, but with prime kidd it would be a much tougher decision.
prime kidd wasn't mvp just because prime duncan was around...but i guess you could say that for lot of players

I Agree with this one Kidd is a special NBA player. He is Mr. under pressure in his prime no one can beat Jason Kidd.

IF Team USA has a playmaker like Kidd USA might be number one again he is the total complete package and a decent defender too.

Look Steve Nash is great too. He's a Hall Of Famer because of his MVPs, and no one can take that away from him. He makes everyone around him better, but he hasn't ALWAYS been doing this. Jason Kidd has been making players around him better since his early playground days, since playing for California, he's always been doing what he does. Nash just started this like how long ago? Was he even this good with Dallas?
