Marvin Williams for Jose Calderon
K. Raps will prolly lose first round and Atlanta won't make it so it's never too early to discuss off season.
So does this trade make sense for both teams? Hawks are in desperate need for a pass first point guard that can get the ball to the likes of JJ and Smith so Calderon fits the bill and Raps need a swingman for their future that can do a little of everything and grow with TJ, Bargs and Bosh and Marvin fits the bill.
Does this trade make sense?
Hawks fans? Like it?
Raps fans?
Other fans...what's your neutral perspective on this?

This trade has been discussed numerous times and the majority agree its a good one for both teams. However in reality it may never happen.

Hard to see Atlanta unloading Williams already.

Especially considering his injuries.
Atlanta doesn't really know what they have in Williams yet. I doubt they'd trade him before they found out.
I like the trade, though.

This would be a good trade for both teams. Both teams fill a position of need. However, it will not happen.

Yep. That's pretty much all there is to say about it.
I'm a Raptors fan and I'd definetly be happy with it.

Y'all are out of your mind. Marvin Williams will be an allstar in 2 years. Call me a homer but I wouldn't trade him for Calderon and Bargnani.

Calderon isn't appreciably better than any of the PG's I have now in Speedy, AJ and Lue. Therefore you'd have to give me something better than a straight up with Calderon. But then again Bargnani doesn't really impress me either. He's basically Zaza but doesn't rebound nearly as well...just another solid Euro stiff.

Mentioning Calderon in the same sentence as Speedy Claxton is enough to make this thread dirty.
Burn all the clothing you're wearing right now and take a shower.

You're right. Because Speedy has a championship ring.
I mean I never heard of so much azz licking for a 9/1/5 21 minute player. What, was Bobby Hurley not available?
