Why not lebron? He has better numbers than dirk and nash.

Has no all stars on his team.

Nash has TWO. Dirk has 1 and half with josh Howard and jt.

Obviously without someone who can contribute lebron isn't going to have as many wins but why is he not even considered.

mvp=season so his team is 3-0 big deal. TERRIBLE TEAMS? LIke that matters man. 3-0 is not a big deal.

i thought lebron had a great case last year. but this year dirk and the mavs have been so dominant. it's tough for me to see it going to anybody else.

I think the mvp has to much emphasis on winning. Like obviously you should be a good team with the MVP on your team, but you don't have to be great. Unless you have an all star.

Nah Bron started his run too late. He could end up with another respectable 2nd place finish, this time behind Dirk though. He won't get any real MVP buzz though unless he has an unreal 14-2 finish to win 55 games, and even then he still shouldn't win with the way the Mavs have performed.

Dirk is putting up 25.2/9.7/3.5 in 37 minutes on 50% shooting, 41.5% from three, 90% from the freethrow line.

Lebron is putting up 27.4/6.9/5.9 in 40.7 minutes on 48.2% shooting, 34.4% from three, 68% from the freethrow line.

His numbers are better. 2 more points 3 less rebounds and 2 more assists. Thats Better to me.

Also lebron doesn't get the kind of looks dirk gets. Hes got jt and howard.

If lebron had those in place of hughes and gibson. He would avg 10 assists and his fg% would be higher from easy looks the give him.

shut the hell up. dirk creates for howard and terry, not the other way around. theres a reason terry is wide open after every pick and roll with dirk.
lebron's team plays better without him. he's the antithesis of an MVP

lol lebron has the ball in his hands a LOT more than dirk and only averages 2 more assists than dirk. you're such a homer it's ridiculous. don't worry lebron will win an MVP or two, just not this year

You'd need a pretty compelling case to convince me that the MVP award should go to some guy who's team is currently 13 wins behind the best record in the league.

this is his argument: Lebron is amazing, lebron is so good, just watch lebron, he's so good. Therefore, he's MVP.
