Yeah i agree with you about Ellis isn't the best player in that draft. But i think you are being a bit harsh on the young man saying that you would choose 5 Players in that draft over him.
But thats just me, I would take a player like Granger over ellis and those 5 guys i will take over ellis.
He's a decent stealer at almost 1 per game, but hes definatley not great or even good.
Thats why there's room to grow, he's still very young and his talent is raw. I think he'll average around 2 steals at his peak. But for now, he's still developing his athleticism is amazing and i think in the future, he will be amazing.

It his 2nd year, and i think the potential ellis holds is huge. Maybe i'll go abit lower, something like 22/5/6.. But 19/4/4, i think he could do that next season.

Obviously Kiwi doesn't know what Monta Ellis is capable of. in a few more years he will be one of the most EXPLOSIVE scorers in the league! You should watch a Warriors and you would know that Monta will be more then a 19/4/4 guy.
