How much is Luke Walton gonna get in the offseason...
The way the team plays with and without this guy is freakin' amazing to me. I know a lot of it is due to the lack of a true PG but dude can get 10,7 and 6 and you hardly notice him on the court.
Lakers are paying a one-dimensional player like Radmanovic the full MLE and a stiff like Kwame gets 9 mil per. What kind of offer will Luke get?

Lol, if Kwame is gettin 9, expect Walton to sign a max. extension.
Re: How much is Luke Walton gonna get in the offseason...
luke is a system player. If he knows whats good for him he will stick with the lakers. At the same time I hope Dr.Buss makes him a fair offer. he is worth more than Vlad so he should get 6-7 mill imo.
Re: How much is Luke Walton gonna get in the offseason...
****e... Kwame is getting 9mil a year? Didn't know that.
I'd give him one more year before you can relatively call him a lost cause. Yeah he's a serviceable player and plays good defense and can rebound aswell as shown he can score, but he's got to get consistent. Hopefully he'll bring it all together, and mainly stay on the court next season.

I think next year is Kwame's last year too. At least they were smart enough to only give him 3 years instead of 5.
As for Luke Walton. I'd give him the mid-level, not a penny more though. I doubt he's the type of guy who'd get a huge amount of offers in the off-season so I don't think the Lakers will have much compatition to sign him.

Gosh, you post like you're 13...
Anyway, the way the Lakers are paying some players Luke should should get around....$ 25 million a year..
But nah seriously, he's a system player. Triangle makes him look better.
He wouldn't be nearly as effective playing in any other systerm which was evidenced by Luke playing in Rudy T's system when he looked like one of the worst players in the league.
Triangle is perfect for him and as brainy as he is, he probably understands that and he"ll want to stay in LA..
4-6 million a year sounds about right for him but given how much some other Lakers plays are making he could pressure Kupchak into paying him $6-7million. I don't see him getting more than that.
He also seems to have trouble with his ankles. Lakers seriously need to look into that before extending him..
If he's smart he's definitely staying with Phil...

A system player huh?? Well I think he would look great in the Suns system too.
