Yeah he did. 4 years. He just seems fed up with the whole situation. I would be too if I was losing every year.

Fed up? It would make sense if he had someone to blame, but the misfortune all came from back to back injuries to Rose. That's happenstance; a level-headed man doesn't get "fed up" with something nobody feasibly had any control over.

he had control over it. he's the one running his players into the ground. so yeah, he only has himself to blame.

That just seems like a fan putting themselves in Thibs' shoes.

Honestly, if this guy practices what he preaches, then he'll be fine as long as he has faith that front office is doing the best they can, and under the circumstances they're doing ok. He's tough on his players, but he also puts more work in than his players so they respect him.

He does not seem like a guy who will up and quit a team just because the talent isn't there, heck you can argue the talent wasn't there even when they were winning.

If anything he is relishing this challenge of taking a team that everyone expects to miss the playoffs now and turn it into a 2nd round exit at the least, conference finals the best result.

i swear i see a bulls player every night that is playing 40+ minutes

i mean injuries are obviously luck based, but they can be somewhat avoided through time management. it's not fair to simply say "injuries are part of the game" when the coach isn't doing the job he needs to prevent the injuries.

in the playoffs, where every game is important, playing a player 40+ minutes makes sense. there are no back to backs, and there is nothing for a player to lose other than to give it his all

i guess what i'm trying to say is that thibs doesn't really have a right to complain about the situation. it's true that the bulls management is very conservative when it comes to money, but it's also part of thibs's job to make sure that his players stay fresh
