He was amazing in game six of the NBA finals. He kept his team in the game playing 42 minutes and showed why he's the best basketball player in the game. Even in a loss, he didn't give up.

2nd best Sg of all tim behind Jordan. In my opinon currently the best player in the leauge. And I think this is his year for that finals mvp. And to the comment on top I don't think Kobe's declined at all.

His athletic ability has declined, but he has improved his overall game so he is at his best. Not to mention top notch conditioning

Thats what I was thinking. A couple bad games and pepole start doubting a decade of excellence.

His all around game has improved. So I think it's all evened out

That was pretty much the same thing for Hakeem. He reached his prime/peak in his 30's, but his athletic ability declined and you can tell just by looking at his rebounds/blocks/steals stats.

That's really the true way you know somebody declined with their athletic ability. Kevin Garnett has completely regressed on those categories as well, and he's clearly losing his athletic ability.
