Default With all this uneven conference talk, why not

Incorporate strength of schedule?

Trying to implement a system where your record + strength of schedule give you a ranking, in which will determine if you have home court.

And making the playoffs would be a deviation of that. Or, making it so that 4 teams from each conference make it (possibly division leaders) then some wild card spots, regardless of conference, where you again make it based off your record+strength of schedule.

Thoughts ?

Thank me and the NFL, NBA

How about the best players from each team play connect 4 in a crude tournament hosted live on television and the top 8 winners from each conference head off into a second round where they take a written test asking them to name the original pokemon?
