I think the consensus is the 5 mentioned above. with guys like Foster, Rice, MJD still being on the fringe because nobody wants to totally ignore their past results with only a quarter of the season being played.

and Ray Rice has 89 yards this year...

McCoy 4 games and now he is injury prone? Charles had a flukey ACL tear and now he is more injury prone than Murray? Come on dude at least be a little reasonable.

Not sure how you are going to just dismiss Foster because he has a good line. Peterson did too early in his career but that wasn't used as a knock on him.

Murray has one good game against the worst rush defense in the league and is suddenly top 5 but Ray Rice is irrelevant because he is injured for the first time in 4-5 years.

Murray is doing amazing this year, RG3 is doing "average" at best

RG3 showed that he play great in an read-option system, but has yet to show that he can play above average as a pocket passer

Murray has shown that he can play great doing anything asked of him...running, catching, blocking, etc...he is true every down back which is very rare in today's game

I would take plenty of running backs over Murray, although Morris wouldn't be one of them. That said, Murray is a solid character and team player. He's definitely worth keeping imo.

Murray has played great the entire year, not just against the Rams

and he is doing well receiving too...21 catches, 138 yards and a TD

that is on pace for 84 catches, 552 yards, 4 TDs...a legit duel threat RB

AP
Charles
Mccoy
Lynch
Gore
Foster
Martin

I really like Demarco but he is NOT top 5. I could accept top 10

He played against one defense that is even above average and had 25 rushing yards on 12 carries. He did have his best receiving day agaisnt KC tho.

Not sure how a good start to the year against 3 bad defenses means he is a top 5 back.

Morris had 1600 yards last year. For comparison, Murray is in his third year and hasn't broken 2000 yet

yeah this is his 3rd year, last year he played injured and behind the worst oline in the NFL

I gave RG3 props for playing elite in a read-option system...now he needs to prove himself in a normal system as a pocket passer...so far he isn't doing that great

1 successful season? I don't blame Murray as much as the poor play calling and pitiful offensive line.

Murray wasn't a starter his rookie year like Morris

Morris is a bruiser type runner...those types use up their mileage QUICK
