Default 2014 QB Draft Watch

Teddy Bridgewater
Tajh Boyd
Johnny Manziel
Marcus Mariota
Brett Hundley
AJ McCarron
etc.

Known already to be a pretty good QB class coming out. Which ones are worthy of being 1st round picks? How do you rank them?

Use this thread for any comments about the players after watching them perform.

Some more intriguing QB's to add:

David Fales (San Jose St.)
Stephen Morris (Miami)
Derek Carr (Fresno State)
Aaron Murray (Georgia)

My best guess for where they will go:

Bridgewater (1st Round, top 5)
Tahj Boyd (1st Round)
Brett Hundley (1st Round)
Marcus Mariota (1st Round)

The rest I'd guess between 2nd and 4th round.

I doubt all of them come out, it makes the QB class TOO strong and may artificially push them down further than where they would go next year due to team needs and/or a clearly better prospect at another position being available.

Heard that Cornell QB is shooting up the boards. Likely first round right now. I got to catch a game of his.

Mariota fascinates me the most. He's the only QB I have watched this season that I like more with each viewing.

Albert Breer report on Braxton Miller:

Quote:
One executive compared Miller to Donovan McNabb and said: The thing that was so impressive, he was controlling the whole thing (during practice). Urban (Meyer) stepped up to the line, and Braxton asked him to step back and really directed everyone on where to go. He can be the whole package. Hes got it. Now Miller must prove it on the field; he can show how far hes come when he returns from a sprained MCL against the Badgers

Always plays excellent in important games. He has a huge arm and he is innately accurate.

But... he is a statue in the pocket. He has gotten better with his footwork over the off-season.. but it's still a big problem with him.

Yeah I noticed that.. When that Georgia kid came through the LOS for the sack on the last drive it didn't look like Mettemberger even moved a step.

Isn't he a poor man's Tebow?

Edit: If I'm a team I'm taking a chance on Manziel. He's got that winners DNA and he's looking like a good passer as well

Aaron Murray is going to be a solid stater in the NFL. He looks to have a better grasp at the NFL level compared to the other quarterbacks.

that is a misconception because he was used in goal line situations last year

Blake Bell was recruited out of high school because of his throwing accuracy

Boyd's really projected as a 1st rounder? I've never really been impressed by him.
