If Kwame Brown improves basketball he could be a good basketball player

If he learned to play defense like KG.. then we could talk.

He is a very good defender (not elite) and an average rebounder. His rebounding needs more improvement than his defense, but Aldridge would certainly become an elite player if he played D like KG as well.

His biggest weakness is his paint presence in my opinion. Far to often he floats out to take a jumper or doesn't protect the paint on defense. I guess rebounding is a part of that, but I think paint presence is the overlying issue that's keeping Aldridge from being a star and taking the Blazers to that next level.

He is very good in the paint, but doesn't do it enough. He is a good interior defender though (again, not elite, but very good). Last season he was guarding a man and a half the whole season because of JJ.

Melo needs to improve ball movement. He relies to much on the triple threat position rather than the flow of the team.

Dwight Howard - hands that are made of stone, level of maturity, rusty mechanical movements, variety of post moves, motivation on defense, in bound shot blocking

If James White improved everything(or anything ) other than dunking, he'd be an elite player.

Monroe with better defense would easily be the best center in the NBA.

Leonard and something. Handle and jumper? Maybe consistent attack mode like he started to show in the Finals? All the tools are there with the perfect situation for him, imo. If he doesn't get there, then he never had the ability to.

Wall and a jumper.

Rose and testicles.
