First NBA games I ever watched were those 2006 finals, and my dad raised me a heat fan (he grew up there)
D-Wade is my favorite all-time
Erik Spoelstra is my favorite all-time coach
Favorite Moment was LeBrons 45 @ Boston. Shut my Kobetard brother up.
I've attended the last four Heat @ Jazz games, seeing as I live in Utah so I can't go to Heat home games.
Favorite Heat team was 2010-2011. Wade's last Alpha year, and that was the most excited I'd ever been about the NBA. That season made me a true Junkie, thanks in no small part to that Heat team that year.
Why You Became a Fan: I was in middle school and started playing sports every single day, and so I was watching the NBA and NFL a lot. Dolphins/Heat were/are my teams, even though I also followed Jordan's Bulls (who didn't?). Pat Riley built a nice team down here in those days.
Favorite Heat Player, All-Time: Alonzo Mourning
Favorite Heat Coach, All-Time: Pat Riley
Favorite Heat Moment: 2006 NBA Finals. Alonzo getting like 5 blocks in the closeout game 6 game.
Amount of Heat Games Attended: Over 100, but none as a child. Parents couldn't afford it
I know a guy who was born and raised in Los Angeles and never left SoCal.. He's 35 now. He claims that he became a heat fan their first year. So in a town with showtime. Magic. Kareem, etc, at that time this guy claims that he has been a heat fan from the start. Right when the drafted Ronnie Seikly. What do you all think? Is that a believable story? Lol
