Rank the Top 5 seeds in the Eastern Conference for the 2014 playoffs
1. Brooklyn Nets
2. Chicago Bulls
3. Miami Heat
4. New York Knicks
5. Indiana Pacers
Basically, the teams with the best record in the Eastern Conference for the 2013-2014 season. You may provide an explanation if you wish.
I say Nets top seed because they're loaded. As long as the vets stay healthy, they should be 1st
Chicago 2nd because they have a healthy and WELL rested Derrick Rose. They always play hard and will continue to do so.
Miami, I have a feeling they will coast through the season but save the best for the playoffs (Similar to what the Celtics did in 2010).
Knicks are a good & fun team to watch. But they have to figure themselves out IMO. Like what will be Amare's roll? How will Bargnani fit in? They also have to increase their toughness in the playoffs if they want to be taken seriously.
Pacers are a tough team. Obviously 1 win away from being in the NBA finals. More of a playoff threat than a regular season threat IMO.
Re: Rank the Top 5 seeds in the Eastern Conference for the 2014 playoffs
Chicago (Thibs treats every game like game 7 of the Finals )
Indiana (Getting Granger back, might be a little boost.)
Heat (Not hating, I really think they're gonna take it easy this year, and save Wade and Lebron for the playoffs.) They fall under veteran team.
Nets (Saving KG/PP for playoffs, lot of off nights.)
Chicago first because I believe they are made for the regular season coach and player wise
Pacers I think are going to have a big yr with a healthy granger
Heat 3rd because I doubt they will bother with the regular season anymore
Not on the Nets hype. No way they finish 1st seed with Dwill as your best player or Brook Lopez. CBA with the knicks
