Default BREAKING: Cavaliers amnesty bid for Mike Miller?

Quote:

The Cleveland Cavaliers are strongly considering making an amnesty waiver bid to claim former Miami Heat forward Mike Miller, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Miami used the amnesty provision to free itself of the $12.8 million left on Miller's contract over the next two seasons. The decision will save the Heat significant money in luxury-tax payments, but the organization is still responsible for paying the balance of Miller's contract.

Sucks for Rockets. lol. I know they wanted him badly.

Memphis should get him back. They really need a long range shooter

why do the cavs do this? to stretch the floor for bynum?

they already have a pretty stocked front court.

Bynum, Andy V, TT, Bennet(unless he pans out to be a 3), Zeller, E Clark(though, brown says he sees him as a 3), and potentially oden.

They would never announce this if they were actually going to do it. They're just trying to get another team under the cap to place a bid, so that no other real contenders get him.

If they really wanted him, they'd put in the bid secretly.

If Cavs really believed Mike Miller can help get Lebron James back next year, they should do it in a heartbeat

Miiiiiiiiiike!!!!!!!!! I would absolutely love to get him. It'd be an absolute waste for him probably though he really should be on a contender not a playoff team. If he were younger I'd love this

Looks like Cleveland is fully out of its "tank it until you make it phase" and now are attempting to be a threat in the East.

Is Anthony Bennett that good?

I don't watch that much college basketball and highlight videos on youtube only show you the upside of a player.

Methinks Bagelred's little shtick needs to end... or he really needs to learn the definition of "breaking" news.

I guess Kyrie saying he was tired of losing made an impact on the front office.
