Default Invitees for Team USA's summer mini camp

Marc Stein has been tweeting some of the new invitees for this off seasons USA mini training camp(updated with new and returning invitees)

Larry Sanders - C - Milwaukee
Chandler Parsons - SF/PF - Houston
Harrison Barnes - SF/PF - Golden State
Klay Thompson - SG/SF - Golden State
Anthony Davis - PF/C - New Orleans (not necessarily a new invitee)
Ryan Anderson - PF - New Orleans
Gordan Hayward - SG/SF - Utah
Derrick Favors - PF/C - Utah

expected invites:
Damian Lillard - PG - Portland
John Wall - PG - Washington
Bradley Beal - SG - Washington
Ty Lawson - PG - Denver
Andre Drummond - C - Detroit
Greg Monroe - PF/C - Detroit
Kryie Irving - PG - Cleveland

its shaping up to be a nice little young core.

Do you see some of these faces as the future of team USA? What other players are you hoping get invites to this summers mini training camp?

Will update OP as new names are released

Does he not belong on Team USA in the future? Great jumper, nice inside game and a strong defender.

Way better than any wing on that list.

How sad would it be to see larry Sanders represent the USA. what a joke

He was one of the best rim protectors in the league this past season(if not the best) and will only get better from here on out. It wouldnt be surprising or at all shocking to see him average a low end double double next season with 2.5+ blocks per game.

Huh? For a good chunk of the playoffs, he wasn't even the best wing on his own team, and that "other player" is also on that list. I think Barnes is going to be better than Klay and it may be as soon as next season.

Above-average defender, great jumper sometimes, average inside game in my opinion

Parsons is much better than Thompson, and Barnes will be in 1-2 years

I like Parsons in that Tayshaun Prince/Andre Iguodala utility role. It's always good to have a skilled role player or two on a team of superstars.

Davis and Barnes will definitely have a good shot at making Team USA in the future; Klay Thompson wouldn't surprise me either. Ryan Anderson could be on a World Championship squad if a lot of regulars don't show up.

I agree with Parsons. He's very underated. I watched him play at Florida and never thought he would take his game to this level. I would assume his game would translate in the International world.

He had a sprained ankle. It was on his healthy ankle, not his problematic one.

I'm sure he's fine by now.
