Default Coach Nick is really high on Memphis

He says if D-Wade isn't 85% or better health wise Memphis will beat Miami if they meet in the Finals, he also says the Grizzlies still would have beaten OKC if they had a healthy Westbrook. What do you think?

Why does everyone think the Spurs are so much better than the Grizzlies? The Grizzlies were only 2 games behind, and that's with having to go through a major trade during the season.

Not even a little bit surprised. He hates Westbrook. Knowing him, he'd probably try and argue Memphis would've swept OKC if we had Westbrook.

I don't understand the argument, though, that Memphis would beat Miami because Miami's biggest weakness is lack of size and frontcourt presence. That's probably OKC's biggest weakness. Our best lineups, like Miami, are our smallball lineups with Durant at PF and Ibaka or Collison at C. I mean sure, we couldn't really stop Z-Bo and Gasol, but the games were still really close despite the offense only having one viable scoring threat.

Miami's just a better version of OKC, even when OKC is healthy, so I don't see them losing to the Grizzlies; even if Wade is at 85%. Westbrook was at 0% and OKC kept the games close. LeBron is better than Durant and Bosh is better than Ibaka. Allen and Battier I'm sure would be better against Memphis than Martin and Thabo -- it wouldn't be hard to do since both sucked aside from Martin in game one.

The dude has an intense hatred of westbrook, so not surprising at all. He was like 'oh they may win one more game with Westbrook'.

Lol, he overrates Memphis. For how good they are, they're not coming close to beating OKC with Westbrook and they aint coming close to Miami in the finals. They'll make Miami work but they dont have enough on offense to win.

Coach ''Dick'' is biased to defensive teams. I'm not even suprised he said this.

He said OKC would take it to game 6, slight possibilty of game 7 with Westbrook. But Memphis would win all the time.

Which doesn't strike me as that logically sound when OKC came close in pretty much all of the games till the final end with Memphis basically triple teaming Durant because Perkins was on the floor and with no Westbrook.

Memphis is a good team that some are just flat out underrating this Post season. & so what the scores were close. This score wasn't 4-1.
There is no guarantee that Memphis loses with Westbrook playing. & you all know that.

The majority of people are picking Memphis to beat the Spurs.

I think if Memphis and Miami meet in the Finals, it's time to test this "LeBron can guard 5 positions" theory. In theory he's an ideal foil to Z-Bo and Memphis will have trouble with Gasol and Randolph having to cover perimeter players. They should start Battier instead of Haslem.

Apparently, not the ESPN writers. I wonder if they're the ones to vote on MVP and DPOY.

Curiously, everyone who picked MEM - thinks in 6 games. All who chose Spurs (but one - 6 games) think 7 games.

I meant most people on this forum... Plus we all know how great the ESPN predictions are:
