Re: Better scorer in their prime Rasheed Wallace or Zach Randolph?
2 different types of scoring IMO, but I believe Zbo had times where he was just "unguardable" where the opposing team was at a loss as to what they could do about it. Rasheed would just get hot. Many players get hot from time to time, nothing special.
Re: Better scorer in their prime Rasheed Wallace or Zach Randolph?
both could put up similar points, but i prefer my bigs to stay in the paint. Rasheed had that mentality where he would rather chuck up 3s especially if he was hot

Exactly the reason I would pick Zbo.
Wallace was the better defender (though not marginally) but Zbo was the bigger interior presence. He forced you to clog the paint and eye him when he was in the post. If you bullied Sheed off the block, you could either expect him to pass out or chuck up a long ball. Some games he would rather toss up the 3ball than to get his efficiently in the paint.
Re: Better scorer in their prime Rasheed Wallace or Zach Randolph?
Randolph is a better scorer because he has scorer's mentality and an assortment of post moves and intermediate area shots
sheed is the more versatile scorer but has mentality of a secondary player
Randolph would call for the ball on 8 straight possessions if the defense couldn't stop him from scoring
Sheed would hit 2 straight buckets, offense sets up the 3rd time....he has the same guy guarding him...in the same spot....and he'd kick the ball back out...just to do it..

THIS.
Younger cats here might not remember what Sheed was like before he became a Piston and starting shooting 3 pointers. Offensively, Sheed was basically as good as Tim Duncan for a period of time. Totally unstoppable turnaround jumper and a sick post game. As a whole he underachieved but him in his prime was remarkable, you just had to cross your fingers and hope he missed because there wasn't anything you could do to stop him from getting a high quality shot.

Agreed, he had such a high release on his jump shot it was almost unguardable. He also had a nice jump hook in his early days. Too bad he fell in love with the three.

Wallace should have been the better scorer.
In reality however, the better scorer is Zach Randolph. The main reason is that he's shown you can rely on him as a first option. He's a true scorer with the mentality and ability to take over, whereas Wallace is a supremely talented scorer with role player mentality, similar to Pau Gasol (nothing wrong with that, both are among my favourite players ever).
