Not sure why you, and everyone, doesn't have this idiot on ignore.

Check the three point percentages and PER's of the Cavs teams with LeBron and it paints a much different picture than these idiot LeBron Stans nowadays.

Scott Brooks deserves a lot of blame. Got cute with a 5-point lead after 3 quarters and started the 4th with Durant on the bench, and the Grizzlies start the quarter on a 9-2 run.

It's seriously not that bad of a loss. Just win one of the next two in Memphis, and everything is alright.

When does Brooks make really smart moves? Presti made a big mistake by giving Brooks an extension. He's a liability, not an asset.

Perkins is a role player, not a negative. You don't play a team of stars or offensive players.
Perkins got his average of 6 boards and a block in 25 mins, but his value is in intangibles such as defensive positioning, IQ, leadership (on and off court), setting screens and affecting shots.
He is the third best interior defender in the league based on proximal FG% at 37.3%.
His team mates both current and former love him and positives flow from their mouth, and his coaches love him.
It takes a keen bball eye and 'insider' knowledge to recognize his value.
To dispute his value as a role player is to show a lack of understanding of professional basketball and all that it encompasses before, during and after games.

All that being said, Brooks plays him too many minutes, and many times in the wrong situations.

Memphis had 16 offensive rebounds this game, that's too many. That alone probably won them the game. I wouldn't put the blame on Perkins for that though but they gotta do a better team effort on rebounds.

Bring out all your fancy stats you like, Perkins is a ****ing bum and I can't stand watching this piece of shit on the court.

Ibaka has also been ****ing terrible these playoffs. We'd be better playing Collison at PF and having Harden on the bench..

When did the Thunder trade for Bismack Biyombo? O wait that's Ibaka not being spoon feed my bad.

Conley great bounce back game clutch as hell, Grizz gotta starting hitting free throws and Tony Allen has to start making layups, imo Grizz has played well below there potential and a 1-1 split is not bad at all atm.

I agree to a certain extent but, let's be honest, you're giving him too much credit and you're not allowing for the legitimacy of any counterpoints when you say things like, "his intangibles...it takes a keen bball eye... 'insider knowledge'"

People think he shouldn't play Perkins? This is one of the few series Perkins has very tangible value. When they're not scoring effectively a small lineup would be more useful - but Perkins should play. They have a very unique advantage with Durant's length and Prince's lack of offense. He can double and contest jumpers very effectively if he commits to it.

They also need to do stuff for Kevin Martin to get to the line....and move the ball. Ibaka was spoonfed by Westbrook all season - everyone on this team was spoonfed by Westbrook - now Durant is trying to do the same thing - but he's not as good at it.

He doesn't need to do that - they just need to move the ball more.
