Default Re: Why didn't LA sign T-Mac?

Well, this is the same team that refused to sign Delonte West when both Nash & Blake were injured and out for at least 2 months each.

Mitch K and the lakers organization havent made any good moves during the regular season. This is one of the many opportunities they missed, and with a 7 man rotation, this missed signing is one of the bigger head scratchers.

The Spurs and the Lakers aren't going to face eachother in the playoffs.

If the Lakers beat Houston on Wednesday (and we will), we're playing the spurs

Pop won't be happy about that. Purposely getting the 2nd seed to avoid the Bakers

Maybe next time Pop!

McGrady is way past done. Signing will amount to nothing IMO.

49.6 Field Goal %
33.3 3 Point Field Goal %
72.2 Free Throw %

25.0 Points Per Game
7.2 Rebounds Per Game
5.1 Assists Per Game

1.6 Steals Per Game
0.6 Blocks Per Game

2.8 Turnovers Per Game

Those are not very good stats for the CBA, considering also that he played on the worst team in the entire league, that finished with a record of 8-24.

There were several players putting up better numbers than that in the same league and that were playing on better teams. Most NBA teams probably just were not at all impressed by T-Mac's play this season in China.

Or, you know they wanted a guy with experience as insurence, not some Scrub thats lighting up the minor leagues who has no real NBA experience.
Kinda sad that this is what tmac has come to

Lakers could go after arenas or iverson, how come no one is crying about them? Oh that's right, the only reason they are crying about tmac is cause the spurs signed him to ride the bench now lakers fans are acting like if they had signed him he would just step right in and average 20ppg again

My question was; why did the Spurs sign T-Mac? They'd be better off with Qrich. T-Mac would pretend he's 10 years younger while Q would just camp and kncock down a 3 or two.

It's unlikely McGrady gets much if any pt, this was an insurance signing.
