Sanders doesn't play enough minutes. He plays like 24 mpg.

Its too bad Andy V got hurt, he was ballin with the D and rebs and would probably be in the running.

Minutes are a factor which could hurt Sanders. Duncan can protect the rim well still and body up on big guys, isnt as active tho as Noah certainly. Iggys been a great overall addition for Denver but I dont know how you justify givin it to him when Lebron is basically the same defender except... more.

At the end of the day, I think it has to go to a guy like Kobe or Michael Beasley. Just for the sheer comedy.

Noah, M. Gasol, Iguodala, or Sanders. Anyone else is a popularity contest tragedy.

Amazing no other perimeter player won it since 2004, considering the defensive quality of some players like tony allen, AI, leBron.

LeBron james 2nd? Like for what? He has coasted on defense for half+ season. I'm really trying to figure out why would they do this, and duncan should be in his place. They're 150% don't watch games..

why people forget hibbert and p.george?yeah sanders gets lots of block etc but he struggles with fouls.i mean the guy plays like 25 min.can t vote for someone who plays and gets foul so often.i agree iggy is underrated as he has always been.my pick would be hibbert and after him p.george .yeah hibbert had a bad season statwise in comparison to last year but he s the defensive anchor of a defensive team.he has a big frame that prevents people from going in the paint all the time.but you can t go wrong with timmy or gasol and noah

Will LeBron finally get the award? Or will he get robbed for the 3rd time in his career.
