Have you seen Harden the last month or so? That is the worst chucking I've ever seen ANYONE do. And this is coming from a Laker fan who has watched Kobe his entire career.
I think teams/defenses/refs have started to figure out Harden. He's getting less fouls called and defenses are learning that if you don't foul him on his drives, he's probably going to miss, which he has been doing a TON of lately.
He shot 38% in March and is shooting 40% so far this month. NOT good heading into the playoffs. And it's not like he's missing open jumpers or is in a shooting slump. He's just chucking it...half his lay up attempts don't even hit rim sometimes...and he's turning over the ball at an alarming rate (5pg so far this month).
I mean he literally just throws the ball up there trying to get the foul. He is the purest definition of "chucker" there is right now.
Like I said...if he was just in a shooting slump, I would be less worried...but as an example, Harden shot 42% from 3pt land in March, but only shot 38% OVERALL. That means his 2pt % was less than his 3pt %. And for a guy that lives on driving in the lane, that's pretty horrible.
I literally wanted to punch him in the face after last night's game. I don't know how his teammates can stand him, to be honest.
