Nash is done. Let Kobe take over and get his 6th ring and become the GOAT. Nash can be a benchwarmer and enjoy being carried.

True, Nash is just slowing down the Lakers now. What the Lakers management need to do is amnesty Nash and get Westbrook off of the Thunder, he has way too much potential to be playing there, the man could be one of the all time greats. Lakers with Westbrook will be sure to be a championship team. Kobe + Westbrook = RINGS

No need to be disrespectful - the dude tried - I respect that. He did bring more liability than benefits to the team unfortunately. Deadweight.

did u really just say westbrook + kobe on the same squad? Rondo is perfect for this team

The thing is he is just no necessary, with kobe they got all the offensive ball handling they need. Kobe needs to save energy by not playing defense so they can't have a defensive liability like nash on the team. Even a younger nash would be inferior to kobe in terms of ball handling and offense so he just isn't necessary. We need a good defensive point guard (e.g. chalmers)

Can't amnesty Nash, and the rest is just non-sense anyway.

Obviously you are right about the amnesty thing, but I think westbrook and Kobe could work. Obviously the Lakers are willing to spend the big bucks for rings, which OKC will not do (cough Harden cough). We need another prime superstar and with the money grubbing OKC management it is not beyond reason that after can get rid nash + gasol for westbrook and saving money for OKC. They get a chance to get rid of the too alpha westbrook so durant can score more.

Lol at Rondo or Westbrook. Rondo would miss his threes. And Kobe would kill Westbrook with a shank for assuming the alpha role. But I'm just in disbelief Nash is sitting in pivotal games because of some back soreness right.

Nash is only "injured" when Kobe doesn't play well

Our defense is much better with him in a fancy suit, so I'm cool with it. Sucks for him, though. He tried his best and after we saw that Nash-ball didn't work our use of his qualities was reduced to his knockdown shooting. I think he could be an amazing sparkplug off the bench, it's likely that he would even accept that type of role but it's too disrespectful imo.

Kobe ball is only good enough to beat bad teams. How did the Lakers and Kobe do against the clippers?

A lot of suckers bought into his last couple seasons as proof he was still significant.
