Default The rescinded back court call for the Bulls in Heat game....

i think it was Boozer who grabs the rebound, Wade knocks it out of his hands after nearly everyone has gone back upcourt, the ball is loose and Boozer regains control of it, he passes it to Heinrich who takes 1 second too long to get into the front court ... refs blow whistle but call gets turned over, Bulls side ball .

are the refs ruling that boozer lost control and so the shot clock should have reset??

as much as i was cheering for a bulls win, that was a back court violation to me and I can't understand why it was called back?

anyone got insight into this? Really quite confusing

I believe they said it was an inadvertent whistle.

the refs definitely blew it up at the time... JVG said the whistle wasn't inadvertant, it was called and then overturned...

It was obviously an 8 second violation. Not clue why they overturned it. Stupid ass refs

Shit happens. The Heat aren't losing any sleep over that loss. They still know they can dominate most teams on any given night.

you're right but the fact is the call got overturned and was a Bulls side ball ... I'm not saying it changes the result of the game but if that call sticks, then the Bulls potentially drop their bundle and start playing poorly, which would've played into Heat hands, they seem to thrive off opponents making basic mistakes like that 8 second back court call

There were many instances of awful officiating against the Heat in this game. It was only a 4 point game, the Heat would have won if it were called fairly.

Perhaps, perhaps not. No guarantee, but this was the wrong game to be home cooking. Should have just let it play out.
