Default Potential Deals

What are some potential deals that could either make us better or younger with the potential to grow whether it be financially or actually better on the court?

Some of my ideas:

Carlos Boozer for Marshon Brooks and Kris Humphries

Carlos Boozer for Monta Ellis

Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng for Spencer Hawes, Evan Turner, Thaddeous Young and Jason Richardson

Luol Deng for Harrison Barnes and Richard Jefferson

Deng is the best trade option, because we'll likely lose him for nothing anyways. Luol is uber loyal, so who knows. His next contract might be awesome, taking that "over-paid" spotlight off his back.

Boozer is a REALLY tough trade because nobody wants him. We're stuck with him, and any Bulls fan that knows the FO, understands he will not get amnestied.

I really don't know why would they trade Deng and why would they let him go? I thought Chicago is the 3rd biggest market team and they already saved quite a bit when they got rid of Brewer's and Korver's contract plus letting Asik walk. I thought Chicago is about winning?

I agree that he would be really tough to trade, but I don't think it's necessarily impossible. There's history of guys with horrible contracts that people thought could never get traded and did.

I think the deals I proposed would be somewhat fair and reasonable for all teams involved.

Carlos Boozer and Richard Hamilton to the Charlotte Bobcats for

Ben Gordon and Tyrus Thomas.

Bring back two old Bulls who Thibs could bring the best out of.

Thibs would bring out the true defensive potential of TT and we could move Taj into the starting lineup.

BG could be Jimmy's backup and be the spark of offense we would need off the bench.

Corey Brewer is a player who could be a really nice pickup at a reasonable price who could backup either Deng or Jimmy (if he starts next year). He's a tenacious defender who has improved his outside shot a great deal. Also a good rebounder for his position and has the ability to drive to the basket. He was also college teammates with Noah.

I would rather bring Nate back, than consider Ben Gordon.

The guy that will change the values of the market for backup and spot-starting bigs, will be Hickson. Whatever he gets paid, will set the bar for everything above and below.

For the Bulls to improve, we desperately needed some of the cap room that Boozer eats up. I like Boozer now, I didn't before. But he's making about 2m too much a year. He took the kind of money, that a nothing team should give him to sleep at the bottom of the playoff ranks, not a team(with Rose) that would be competing for best records every year, and a title contender.

If he took less money at a chance to win a title, then most people that are highly critical of Boozer now, would be pretty happy with him. His contract may have been the difference between the Bulls getting a legit 2 in the last few seasons, and where we are today.

That being said, he will likely not be traded. And if you think the Bulls will amnesty him, you have serious brain damage. Put down the crack pipe.

Trade Deng and Boozer. Sign OJ Mayo. Start Butler at the 3, Taj at the 4. Keep Hinrich and Nate Robinson. Build a better bench.

Lineup for next season:

C: Noah
PF: Taj
SF: Butler
SG: Mayo
PG: Rose

6th man:

Hinrich

Deng for Eric Gordon?

Deng for Tyreke Evans?

Any of these possible? Would they be worth it?
