Default Should college basketball change to nba rules

35 second shot clock to 24 second clock
40 min game to 48 min
No zone(even tho legal in nba few team use it and in short increments)
Nba 3 point line
5 fouls to 6 foul
Etc

I think this would help nba teams have a better idea of how a draft prospect would preform in the nba.

Also college basketball would be more watchable. I try watching it but its hard watching guys pass the ball around the three point line then chucking up a late shot clock three 75% of the time.

cbb isnt for you.

plenty of people enjoy it, why should the ncaa care about the nba, and being able to scout for the pros?

I think they need to lower the shotclock again. Maybe to 30 seconds. It's just too slow for me. I don't think I've watched a full game in like 5 years... But tons of people watch and like it the way it is, so what do I know?

Pulling the 3pt line back would be good too. They're shooting 6 feet behind the line as is anyway.

The 3PTline really should be the same though

For one thing it would really help floor spacing and coaches would actually use their bigs down in the post more often which would lead to kids developing better post skills on O

The 35 sec clock is to much time per possession U don't think a quicker pace would make it better...

Because it's the de facto minor leagues for the NBA.

Exactly I would rather them create more d league teams and allow kids to go from high school to the d league

As long as they don't allow players to travel on every possession like the NBA does with LeBron.

Definitely reduce the 35 shot clock. I'm OK with the 2-halves 20 minutes game time.

That is on topic. You are saying you want the NBA rules in the NCAA. I am saying that is fine, as long as they don't allow college players to travel on every possession like LeBron is allowed to under the NBA rules.

Nope. It should be left alone. The great thing about college ball is the variety of offenses and defenses that different teams run, and watching them unfold and figure out how to exploit the different styles. I'm afraid if they went to a 24 second shot clock and other NBA rules, it would become the same old pick and roll or isolation plays that you see literally every NBA team run in every game.

Maybe but it's bound to be a few coaches to come up with a original way to approach offense and defense. I'm mainly thinking about improving the way players enter the nba
