Default Better three point shot: Dell Curry or Steve Kerr

Better three point shot: Dell Curry or Steve Kerr?

I'll go with Curry by a little bit.

Dell's release was nuts. He has the kind of shot that will seem to allow him to drop bombs on opponents until he's 90 years old. So simple, yet he needed just a centimeter of space. Even at age 37 he was putting in work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMqpGkyO4rk

The apple clearly does not fall far from the tree.

Id take Dell as he created a shot for himself more so than Kerr ever did, Kerr was a basic spot up/wait for the pass 3pt specialist.

Another good comparison is Reggie Miller vs Ray Allen, who do you take? For me its Reggie, his competitiveness and ability to hit almost any shot from anywhere on the court makes him the best shooter weve seen, doesnt matter to me that Ray has more buckets from beyond the arc.

This is a very good post. I would take Curry also for his ability to hit more contested threes/create. And Im taking Reggie also. Especially in the intangibles department.

The OP was asking who had the better shot... and for that I pick Kerr. I don't care if Curry's release was faster, or if he could create his own shot. If Kerr and Curry were on the 3p line, and I could only cover one, I'd cover Kerr.

As for Miller vs Allen, I didn't watch much of Miller, but I think people forget how good Allen was in Milwaukee and Seattle. He could create his own shot just as easily as he could rain spot-up 3s.
