Default Best At Setting Screens/Hockey Assists

This is a very underrated aspect of the game. Nobody ever mentions it. Probably because it doesn't up in the box score.
The greatest I've seen are Duncan, Stockton, Malone, and KG. Who do you think are others?
Hockey Assists also never show up in the box score. I always thought they should record them. Duncan and Shaq are the first to come to mind.
INB4 nobody cares because I'm not **** riding/hating Kobe and LeBron.

Setting screens is a difficult skill to rank. It's probably more about consistency of effort than anything else. Someone like Oakley wins out there, but that's because a huge part of his job was just that. Then you have someone like Malone who can pin you in and damage you going either way. Someone like Mahorn who would shake people up and someone like Rodman who you could trust to guard anyone he was screening.

Plenty of guys can set great screens. But it takes complementary skills to make it really effective.

I always thought when Tyson Chandler and CP3 used to play for the Hornets, they would have one of the best PnR duo there is.

Chandler sets pretty tight picks and knows how to readjust his pick if the ball handler's defender would deny it.

yeah, cp3 is probably the best ballhandler, at getting his defender stuck over a screen

parker is great too, with duncan, at adjusting the screen, re-setting it, until he can get a good angle for a drive/midrange pull-up

kg is great, but he gets away with moving screens more than any other player i can think of.

nick collison is a great screen setter, him and harden had such fantastic chemistry in okc, on dribble handoffs, as well as pick and rolls.

asik is a pretty good screen setter

i was really surprised last time i watched the wolves, but pekovic was a really good screen setter. i thought he was just a low-post banger, you wasnt very effective in the pick and roll, but he really freed up the ball handler, and got himself some easy buckets with his tough picks. and, it doesnt hurt that hes built like a brick shithouse.

for guards, steve nash is pretty smart at setting off-the-ball picks

That would be KG. Doesn't mean he is not at it. He gets away with it 99% of the time.
