I think it has to do with the title. It was quite excitable. People were probably expecting more than a one-hand dunk with the exclamation point dunk contest declaration and whatnot. Yes, the player spun in a circle and ran the ball through their leg before beginning their dunk attempt, but it was still more or less a signature LeBron James one hand dunk we've all seen one million times. I don't think most people have a problem with the dunk itself, it was just sold to be more than it actually was.
