OKC makes the NBA Finals, then trades away Harden and Maynor.

Yes, Maynor was a huge key to the Thunder's championship run last year.

His return is supposedly what gave OKC the confidence to move Harden.
Harden + Maynor vs. Martin + Jackson... not a tough choice.

They moved Harden for money. That's it. Jackson has outplayed Maynor in practice and on the court and took over his spot as the backup PG, Maynor has contributed nothing this year and was just wasting away on the bench. It's a good move for both teams.

Maynor before his knee injury was the best pure PG the thunder had.

Sooooo.... what did they get? Anything would probably be a nice pick up, Maynor was rotting away on the bench hard this year

I'm still sad the Jazz gave away Maynor just to get rid of Harpring's retired contract. Too bad he's getting passed around again.

He was the "only" pure PG they had but imo hes probably better than Ronnie Price once he gets his confidence back.

I'm pretty sure Reggie Jackson has been taking Maynor's minutes for months now.

Re: Eric Maynor traded to the Blazers
I was excited when I first heard this, because at one point he was advertised a bit like Bledsoe, but then I remembered I hadn't heard his name in a while and after checking the stats, looks like he has not made any improvements. Could somebody who watches him routinely let me know what I can expect from him in Portland with a potentially larger role than he had in OKC?
