Default The Best SLAM of All-Star Saturday Night

Actually it was a tie between Bledsoe and Green.

I thought Bledsoe had a great game plan (if he did) to basically go with style rather than gimmick/creativity. Both of his dunks were actually very good, but there wasn't enough flare behind it.

I think that's the reason why the Contest have been so disappointing in recent years, because everybody wants to try something new, something you'd do on video games.

Instead of looking for something new, they should just go with style. Slightly modify a few classic dunks.

The judges don't go for style though, as is evident from the fact that most of them just throw up a score as soon a dunk is done. If you actually wanted to judge the style and detail of a dunk, you'd have to see the replay.

So I don't blame these guys for trying to do something crazy to get a 10.
