He missed at least 5 shots that he was bailed out on and went to the line.. He also played alot better once game was basically over and the heat let up stat padding even some more..

I know Durant was desperately trying hard to miraculously get OKC back from a nasty blowout lead he thought, but there is a reason a veteran superstar sits out 4th quarters if he is down so much... the only thing you will do at best is make the lead a bit closer and ofcourse... tune up your stats (some might call it statpadding).... the only times a team came back to tie/win a game from being down so much in the 4th was always a TEAM effort.... one man wont do it...

This but as far as MVP voting goes this game should of wrapped it up for Lebron but Durant getting a meaningless 40 looks good on stat sheet and to some who didn't watch gm or pay close attention think Durant played Lebron even.
