Most physically gifted SF (and possibly player) in the history of the NBA for sure. Still needs the accomplishments to reach some of the greats though.

LeBron will never be as good as Bird was in his prime. Bird would take LeBron out of his game in a series, strip him of his confidence. LeBron isn't a natural closer, he has built confidence.
7 game series with Bird and that confidence is shattered and LeBron is back giving the ball to Wade in isos down the stretch.

Not strictly due to defense, stop perpetuating this myth.
Deliberate drop in offensive possessions, slower pace, wasting shot clocks, ISO ball, influx of HS players, loss of basketball skills and intelligence.
Just because the offensive numbers regressed does not equate to it being the best defensive era.
