Default Is there a deeper draft in recent memory than 2008?

Rose
Westbrook
Mayo
Brook Lopez
Love
Eric Gordon
Gallinari
Hibbert
Ibaka
Hickson
Batum
McGee
Dragic
Bayless
Asik
Chalmers
DeAndre Jordan
Pekovic
George Hill
Courtney Lee
Jason Thompson
Ryan Anderson
Marreese Speights

^All at least starting caliber players. And of all these player, the ****ing Bucks drafted Joe Alexander with the 8th pick.

well first of all, they couldn't have taken the bold players, they had the 8th pick.

and as for recent drafts, if you consider 2003 recent, it was quite nice

the 2009 draft has been surprisingly deep. at the time, most people saw it as griffin, and very little else, now harden is an elite scorer, curry could have easily been an all star, holiday and jennings too.

I started a thread about this a few months back.

I likened it to 2003's draft with LeBron and co.

Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love are all All Stars and members of the 2012 dream team. Derrick Rose was originally in it but obviously had to back out due to his ACL.

2003 = LeBron, Carmelo, DWade, and Bosh are all All stars and members of the 2008 Olympic teams. And LeBron and Melo were on the 2012 dream team.

Both drafts have a "bust" as the second draft pick. (Darko and Beasley).

Derrick Rose to me is like a mini LeBron. Uber athletic ball handler who can create and pass and also score with great ability.

2008 is pretty deep, indeed.
