Default who is the most/least cost-effective player right now?

I mean, players that give the most production out of what they cost (salaries). does anyone have a database that can compute this?

Also, on the opposite side, which player is payed highest while giving the smallest production? I think Atlanta Joe Johnson is a nominee here...

If Arenas and Roy are still on the books but giving zero impact than i would say they are the least cost effective

You cant consider rookies because of their contract situation.
Paul Milspa gets 7.2mill this season and is putting up good stats.
OJ Mayo signed with the Mavs for 4.2 so he could padstat for a season.
Stephen Curry will be getting 10mill next season. That is good contract if he keeps it up.
Glen Davis is getting 6mill. His stats is okei, but that team has no first option or second option for that matter.

Reggie Evans always takes the cake for me. Always getting underpaid, put still plays very hard. He is getting payed 1.6mill per season (3years left on his contract) He is putting up very close to 9rpg while playing 22minutes. He hustles and sets screen.

Kevin Love, always injured and can't lead a team. Not a max player.

JR Smith for 2.8 mill
and
Felton for 3.2 mill are right up there.

Surprised no one mentioned Jeremy Lin.

At $8+ million for 3 years, you could do a whole lot worse than his contract.

I always thought that Rashard Lewis' contract was not worth what he could bring to the table skill/talent wise. He's good but not max contract deserving good.

You mean you could do way better than that right? Thats a terrible contract for a solid back up PG.

How about Rashard Lewis' contract? No one seems to care about it. Probably worst contract Lin's.

In that case it's a terrible contract for a back up center in Omer Asik. I believe him and Lin have the identical contract.
